Day 1: Cape Town
Clients are met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport by a representative of SAfrica Golf Tours who will assist them with collecting their rental car. The representative will then spend about an hour with guests going over the route and offering suggestions and advice, at this point clients will be presented with their self drive tour itinerary, a map book and any vouchers that they will need on their journey. Clients will have the balance of the day at their leisure

Day 2: Cape Town
This morning you will head off to the Mowbray golf club, With lovely views of Table Mountain from most holes, this championship course offers a beautiful setting and challenging layout. Mowbray Golf Club is a true championship course, having hosted the South African Open on 7 occasions.

Day 3: Cape Town
Day at Leisure : We recommend you take this opportunity to visit some of Cape Town’s favourite attractions, take a cable car trip up Table Mountain, weather permitting the views from the top really are stunning. Take a ferry trip to Robben Island, ferries depart from the V&A Waterfront. Alternatively take the day to relax on one of Cape Town’s beautiful beaches, Camps Bay and Bantry Bay are among the favourites. Boulders Beach is also a firm favourite with its penguin colony sharing the beach.

Day 4: Cape Town
This morning you will head off to the Royal Cape golf course, With lovely views of Table Mountain from most holes, this championship course offers a beautiful setting and challenging layout. Royal Cape Golf Club is a true championship course, having hosted the South African Open no less than ten times .

Day 5: Garden Route
Today is a fairly free day, so much as you will need to travel up the N2 until you reach Mossel Bay (about 3.5 hrs from Cape Town), where you will be spending the next 2 nights at Pinnacle Point golf estate.

Day 6: Mossel Bay
After breakfast in the clubhouse, you will set about taking on Pinnacle Point golf course, The course is an immaculate eighteen-hole championship golf course, The emerald green fairways and tees provide the perfect surface for making shots and the bent grass greens will ensure a challenging and entertaining game is had by all. Set on the edge of a magnificent coast, the views are awe inspiring, with dramatic coastal views of the ocean from all area's of the course. Pinnacle Point has already been rated as "the best golf course on the planet" by pro golfer Darren Clarke.

Day 7: George
Today you will be playing at Oubaai, Ernie Els's first signature design golf course in his home country of South Africa. Els has created a gem on an impressive piece of land with the backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountain range to one side, the magnificent Gwaing River valley to the other and the Indian Ocean in front. The course has been built with classic links in mind, but there are subtleties and features adding character here that will not be found on any of the traditional links courses of the world. On completing your round at Oubaai you have a 45 minute drive to Knysna where you will be staying in the largest log structure in Southern Africa, The Knysna Log Inn

Day 8: Knysna
Day at Leisure : We recommend you take this opportunity to visit some of the Garden Routes attractions, make a trip to the Knysna Elephant park and experience these huge creatures up close and personal as you get to interact with them. Monkeyland, a free roaming primate sanctuary and Birds of Eden are just North of Plettenberg Bay. Storms River and the Tsitsikamma village are about an hour’s drive away. For the real adventurous why not bungy jump from the Bloukrans River Bridge, the highest commercial bungy site in the world at a whooping 216m high.

Day 9: Plettenberg Bay
Today you will be playing about 25 kilometres North of Knysna at Goose Valley golf club, just outside the picturesque town of Plettenberg Bay. Goose Valley is a Gary Player designed course set on the banks of the Keurbooms Lagoon. Golfers will experience fantastic views of the ocean, the Tsitsikamma Mountains along with an abundance of wildlife.

Day 10: Knysna
Your final round of the holiday will be at Pezula , this Championship Golf Course is a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine Southern Cape landscape. The breathtaking, award-winning 18-hole course which was designed by David Dale and Ronald Fream of GolfPlan USA, rates amongst the best and the most scenic golf courses in the world. The course has sweeping views of both the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean.

Day 11: Depart
With only a few hours left now is the time to do any last minute shopping before returning the hire car to the airport of your choice. |
