Enjoy 8 nights along South Africa’s “ Golf coast”, take in the tropical climate whilst staying in the Zulu kingdom before heading to the Wild Coast.
Start your 8 nights tour of the golf coast just North of Durban, in Zululand, sample some of the cultural villages, visit the dolphin coast to see if you can spot any playing in the Ocean. Head South along the Hibiscus coast until reaching the Wild Coast for the last few days. |

Day 1: Durban
Upon arrival at Durban Airport you will be met by a representative of SAfrica Golf Tours who will assist you with collecting your rental car. The representative will then spend about an hour with guests going over the route and offering suggestions and advice, at this point clients will be presented with their self drive tour itinerary, a map book and any vouchers that they will need on their journey. Clients will have the balance of the day at their leisure

Day 2: Durban
After breakfast at the lodge, you first round of the week will be at Princes Grant, with its large undulating fairways, Princes Grant is a combination of links and parklands golf. With its lush fairways and lots of multi tiered greens this will be a great test of golf to start your week.

Day 3: Durban
Today you will be playing at Durban Country Club, consistently ranked in the top 5 courses in the country, DCC has played host to the South African Open more times than any other course in South Africa, 16 times in fact. A links style championship course, with narrow fairways. DCC is also home to what many people believe to be the greatest 3rd hole in the World.

Day 4: Durban
This morning you will be staying on the resort as you will be playing Selborne golf course. A beautifully manicured course, that works in harmony with its local surroundings. Remember to take lots of balls as water comes into play on 15 of the 18 holes.

Day 5: Wild Coast
Day at Leisure: Although you have the day to yourself you will be moving resorts to the Wild Coast Sun complex, about 45 minutes South along the coastline. Why not stop off at some of the local towns and villages and sample the hospitality afforded to visitors.

Day 6: Wild Coast
Just a short journey up the road today and you will be at San Lameer golf course, a championship course built on one of the last wetlands in South Africa. A fairly tight course, so keeping the ball down the middle will be a real bonus. The 4th hole is almost a carbon copy of the par 3, 12th at Augusta National, home to the Masters golf tournament.

Day 7: Wild Coast
Day at leisure, why not enjoy some of the many facilities on offer within the complex. Try some of the attractions at Waterworld, go horse riding on the beach, try your luck at one of the casino tables or just relax at the beach or swimming pool.

Day 8: Wild Coast
Your last round of the week will be today in your resort, the Wild Coast Sun golf course, a stunning course set in a rocky terrain, the course crosses back and forth over a large ravine. The course has 6 par 3’s, don’t think this will make it easy as many of them have no bail out area. Ranked in the top 15 courses in the country, Wild Coast Sun will be a great way to end a great weeks golf.

Day 9: Depart
With only a few hours left before you depart, now is the time to finish off any last minute present shopping that needs to be done, Finally return the rental car : Have a safe journey home |
